Kids will not be able to resist this beetroot sago paratha, as it delivers them with energy and their daily intake of vitamins, dietary fiber, folate and protein. A great way to sneak nutritious vegetables into a fussy kid’s snack.
3 Tbsp(26.0 gm) Wheat Flour (Whole)
2 Tsp(6.0 gm) Beet Root (Grated)
2 Tsp(8.0 gm) Sabudana
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Green Chilli Paste
1/4 Tsp(0.44 gm) Jeera Powder
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Salt
As Required(20.0 ml) Water
1 Tsp(4.0 gm) Ghee
- In a mixing bowl, add 3 tbsp wheat flour, mashed sabudana, and 2 tbsp grated beetroot.
- Then, add 1/4th tsp each of salt, green chilli paste, and jeera powder.
- Add sufficient water, mix well and knead into a soft dough.
- Roll the dough ball into a paratha using a rolling pin.
- Roast both sides of the paratha thoroughly on a heated tawa, with 1 tsp ghee.
- Serve hot.
