The Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO) has been developing “Brahmos” missiles in collaboration with Russia. These missiles are designed to be used in 3 different areas: land, air, and sea, which travel faster than sound.
In the Arabian Sea, the Navy-owned INS tested a supersonic missile, the “Brahmos”, from the Chennai warship. The missile hit the target precisely, the DRDO said on Twitter.
Defense Minister Rajnath Singh congratulated the DRDO officials, Brahmos missile project officers, and the Indian Navy for successfully testing the missile.
