Tourists’ top choice beach getaway, Goa has revived to visitors after the COVID-19 lockdown. The beautiful state is all set to welcome tourists from inside the nation.
This has come as huge news for the tourism industry within the state, one of the major revenue-generating businesses as well. 250 hotels have too been allowed to continue operations to help the tourists.
The improvement was detailed by Goa’s Tourism Serve Manohar Ajgaonkar, “We have chosen to permit residential travellers to enter Goa given they comply with certain norms.” Supposedly, the choice was made in a cabinet assembly, directed by Goa CM Pramod Sawant. What is critical to note here is that anybody plans to create a trip to Goa should follow a set of rules and controls, or they won’t be permitted to enter the state.
Here is a breakdown of what one needs to know before planning a visit to Goa:
- · Carry a negative COVID-19 certificate that has been conducted over the past 48 hours. Else, travellers will have to get tested in Goa for the same.
- · Anyone testing positive for Coronavirus would either have to go back or stay in quarantine in Goa until their test result is declared.
- · Travellers need to pre-book their stay at a hotel that has been approved to operate by the tourism department.
· Travellers with bookings in a non-approved hotel or home stay will not be allowed, and the same would be deemed illegal.
