Admission to MBBS, BDS courses and Siddha, Ayurveda, Unani, Homeopathy courses, All India allotted seats in Veterinary Medicine (PVSC – AH) in Government and Private Medical Colleges across India is conducted on the basis of National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET) marks.
The court dismissed petitions filed on behalf of students and some state governments seeking postponement of the NEET examination and allowed the examination to be held.
Accordingly, the National Examinations Agency (NEA) has announced that the NEET Examination for Student Recruitment for these courses in the 2020-21 academic year will be held on September 13.
Following this, the NEET examination was held on yesterday across the country as per the plan.
Out of 1 lakh 17,990 students who applied for the exam, had attended more than 95 percent took the exam.
