CGTN, the Chinese state-run English-language tv channel, said reports that Oracle had bought TikTok’s US operations unit were untrue and that no such choice had been made. Last June, India banned 58 Chinese processors, counting TikTok, for security reasons.

Taking after this, US President Trump’s organization started forcing Byte Dance to ban the TikTok processor in the United States in case it did not sell its U.S. operations to TikTok by September.
Meanwhile, on Monday morning, it was reported that Byte Dance, the owner of TikTok, had sold its US division of TikTok to Oracle.
On the other hand, Microsoft also reported that Byte Move did not accept their attempt to purchase TikTok. This has not yet been clarified by the Byte Dance side.
