Delhi NIA authorities are conducting raids in Tamil Nadu following the arrest of Al-Qaeda activists in Kerala. NIA authorities raided West Bengal and Kerala recently and captured nine Al-Qaeda activists. Six were caught in West Bengal and three in Ernakulam, Kerala.

The investigation conducted on 3 peoples captured in Kerala has revealed that they were in touch with a few people from Tamil Nadu.
NIA authorities from Delhi have arrived in Tamil Nadu, to examine. It is said that a few people from Tamil Nadu tried to connect the Al-Qaeda movement.
NIA officials are collecting information around them. In Tamil Nadu, police surveillance has been intensified. It has also been ordered to intensify vehicle checks on the Tamil Nadu-Kerala border.
