Lucknow: “In the Babar Masjid demolition case, there is not enough evidence for the allegations and that it was not a premeditated act.” said Judge S.K.Yadav.
The Lucknow special court has said in its judgment that the CBI has not proved the legal allegations against the accused with sufficient evidence and will acquit all the 32 members from the case.
The case, which has been going on for 28 years, has been adjudicated today.
Murali Manohar Joshi appeared on a special court by video conferencing on July 23 and L.K Advani on July 24. Similarly, Kalyan Singh and Uma Bharati appeared in court on different days.
BJP senior leaders Advani and Murali Manohar Joshi, who was charged in the case, were barred from appearing in court due to old age. Apart from these, 26 others have appeared in court.
The Lucknow CBI special court has acquitted all the accused in the Babri Masjid demolition case, including Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi, and Uma Bharti. In this historic case, Judge S.K Yadav delivered his judgment today.
