Chief Minister Edappadi Palanisamy today launched the “One Country One Ration Scheme” in 32 districts in Tamil Nadu at the General Secretariat.
Ration cardholders can purchase items at ration shops in any state of the country through this scheme. Initially, the project was implemented on a trial basis in Nellai and Thoothukudi districts.
All ration shops have a fingerprint recording machine called “Bio Metric” as an alternative to the “Point of Sale” machine. Only family members can receive items through this procedure. At the same time, you will not be able to get goods if others bring that smart card.
