Following are the critical rules that Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ declared through a tweet: The Department of School Education and Literacy and the Ministry of Education on Monday (October 5, 2020) issued rules for reopening of schools.
This comes after the declaration from the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on September 30, 2020, that the States and UTs can revive schools, colleges and education institutions after October 15.
1. Organize and actualize for careful cleaning and cleaning of all regions, furniture, equipment, stationery, capacity places, water tanks, kitchens, canteen, washrooms, research facilities, libraries, etc. on the school campus and guarantee wind current in indoor space.
2. Schools to create Assignment Groups such as Crisis Care Support/Response Group, General Back Group for all partners, Product Back Group, Cleanliness Review Group, etc. with reserved duties will be helpful.
3. Schools may be empowered to form their claim SOPs based on the rules issued by States/UTs for the taking after, keeping in see the security and physical/social removing standards, and guaranteeing that the notices/posters/messages/communication to guardians in this respect are conspicuously displayed/disseminated.
