The CBI is investigating the death of Hindi actor Sushant Singh Rajput. During the investigation, the Narcotics Control Unit (NCP) also conducted an investigation after the background of the drug gang was revealed. In it, actor Sushant’s girlfriend and actress Riya, along with her brother Shovik, were arrested and jailed in court for allegedly being associated with a drug gang.
The two have filed a petition seeking bail in a special court hearing the anti-drug lawsuits in Mumbai. The petition was dismissed by the Special Court.
Following this, both filed a petition in the Mumbai High Court seeking bail. Meanwhile, the judicial custody of actress Riya and her brother Shovik, who have been arrested in connection with drug trafficking, has been extended till October 20.
The special court issued the order yesterday. Actress Riya has been granted bail by the Mumbai High Court.
