Najeeb Tarakai, the opening batsman of Afghanistan cricket, was tragically killed in a car crash while crossing the road, causing great tragedy in the Afghan cricket arena.
Last Friday, he had an accident and was admitted to the hospital in a life-threatening condition. But the Afghan Cricket Association announced that he had died without treatment.
The Afghan Cricket Board said in its condolence message “We announce the heartbreaking news that the aggressive opener Najeeb Tarakai is no longer with us. He is a good man. Najeeb Tarakai, who died in a road accident, has left us in deep sorrow and shock.”
