DMDK Leader Vijayakanth has been admitted to MIOT Hospital due to sudden illness. Vijayakanth was infected with the coronavirus on September 22. Subsequently, he was admitted to MIOT Hospital in Chennai for treatment.
On the 29th, his wife Premalatha also affected corona infection while he was being treated by doctors. She was also admitted to the same hospital.
After recovering from the corona infection, both of them returned home from the hospital on the 2nd of last month. Under the circumstances, Vijayakanth was admitted to MIOT Hospital last night due to sudden illness. Doctors are treating him.
A statement from the DMDK party, “Vijayakanth has been admitted to a private hospital for secondary tests. He will be back home in a couple of days. Do not believe the rumors.”
