HDFC Bank management has announced that if HDFC customers are admitted to Apollo Hospitals for emergency medical treatment, they will be given an instant loan of up to Rs 40 lakh for their medical expenses.
Aditya Puri, Managing Director, HDFC Bank, made the announcement to reporters in Mumbai on Wednesday ”HDFC Bank’s 6.5 crore customers will also be able to avail the service, said Shobana Kamineni, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Apollo Hospitals.”
Although medical insurance is essential, it cannot be used for all medical treatments. This loan facility can be helpful in times like that.
At the beginning of the event, the Apollo Group launched a program called ‘The Healthy Life Program’ to treat a variety of ailments. He added that interested HDFC customers will also be included in the scheme.
