Helsinki: A 16-year-old woman has taken over as Finland’s ‘one-day prime minister’.
Finland Prime Minister Sanna Marin, 34, became the world’s youngest head of the government.
The United Nations observes October 11 each year as ‘International Day of the Girl Child’ to raise awareness about gender equality.
To mark the day, a ‘Women’s Responsibility’ event was held in Finland. Prime Minister Sanna Marin decided to beautify Aava Mutho, a 16-year-old girl from a very small village, by making her prime minister one day.

Aava Murto took over as the country’s prime minister on Wednesday. “She said that women need to be technologically savvy if they are to achieve gender equality internationally”.
