The district court, which heard the double murder case 25 years ago, has sentenced six members of the same family to life in prison.
Special court judge Anil Kumar convicted six members of the same family in the 1995 murder of police officer Amar Singh and auto driver Pappu from the Mauda area.
He also sentenced all of them to life imprisonment and ordered them to pay a fine of Rs 26,000 each.
Amar Singh and Pappu were shot dead in a revenge shootout between the two gangs. Nine people were charged in the case, while three died during the trial.
