Mrs.Kushboo joined as a National spokesperson at Congress in 2014, relieved herself from the party due to “Push and Suppression”. Early this Sunday Mrs.Kushboo left for Delhi, at the airport she said that she’s not interested to comment on rumors about leaving the party. But this morning it’s been officially confirmed that Mrs.Kushboo is no longer the National Spokesperson of AICC and later today it was confirmed that she has joined in BJP.
In a letter to party president Sonia Gandhi, she mentioned that “I came into the fold of INC at the time when it was at its lowest, being defeated in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections”. And claimed that she did not walk into the party for fame.
“Few elements seated at higher levels within the party, people who have no connectivity with the ground reality are dictating terms and people like me who wanted to work for the party, are being pushed and suppressed.”
This actor turned politician also quits Twitter today and stated that the reason is to keep her sanity intact and wish to stay away from negativity. And also said she wants to remain to be herself and she’s not someone who is been afraid of being trolled.
