The National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA) has said it has begun collecting samples of cricket players participating in the ongoing IPL tournament in the United Arab Emirates.

“Drug testing sample has been taken from an Indian and international cricketer those who are participating in the IPL. Their blood samples have been collected.”
Naveen Agarwal, the organization’s Director-General, said: “The samples collected from IPL players will be sent to the World Anti-Doping Agency’s accredited laboratory in Doha, Qatar for testing.”
Since the BCCI was brought under the control of the NADA last year, doping tests have been conducted on players during domestic and international cricket matches.
