Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Edappadi K. Palanisamy’s mother Thavusa Ammal (93) passed away on Tuesday due to a Heart Attack. Her body was cremated this morning around 8 am.
Thavusayammal, the wife of Mr.Karuppu Gounter from Silluvampalayam village and the mother of the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, was admitted to a private hospital in Salem and died in a heart attack at 1 am on Tuesday (Oct. 13)
The body of Thavusa Ammal was taken from her home in Chinniampalayam to do her final rituals. The funeral was attended by Chief Minister Palanisamy, party members, villagers, and other ministers presented to show their tearful tributes.
Chief Minister Edappadi K Palanisamy, who arrived at his native village from Chennai, to pay the final respect to his mother. Ministers Senkottayan, Anbalagan, Thangamani, Udumalai Radhakrishnan, Transport Minister Vijayabaskar, Karuppanan, Salem District Collector C. A Raman, Erode District Collector Kathiravan, Western Region I G Periyaya, and Tamil Nadu Law and Order Additional ADGP Rajesh Das, attended the funeral and paid their tributes.
