The NEET exam results were released yesterday evening. In this, Shoaib Aftab, a student from Odisha, and Akansha Singh, a student from Delhi, topped the national level with a score of 720 out of 720.
In the history of the NEET exam, so far no student has got full marks. Sohaib Aftab was awarded first place as a senior student according to tie-break policies after two passed with 100% marks.
Shoaib Aftab, who topped the list, has expressed interest in joining the Delhi Aims Medical College. Student Akansha Singh has expressed a desire to become a neurosurgery researcher.
The NEET exam took place last Sept.13. The Phase 2 exam was held on Oct. 14 for the students who missed the exam.
With a total of 13.66 lakh students appearing for the exam, 7 lakh 71,500 (56.44%) have passed and qualified to study medicine. Out of 99,610 students in Tamil Nadu, 57,215 (57.44 percent) qualified. This is 8.87 percent more than last year.
