Samsung has regained its top position within the worldwide smartphone advertise as of August 2020 after losing it to Huawei earlier to this year, Counterpoint’s latest report suggests. Samsung has a 22 percent share of the international market.
Counterpoint reports that Samsung is the first company to acquire such shares. Huawei has seen a 16 percent decline over the same period.
As of August 2020, Xiaomi has an 11 percent stake.
Samsung’s mobile sales in the international market have been steadily declining since April due to curfew. In this case, Samsung is back on track in August. Samsung seems to have recovered from the Corona curfew.
Due to the increased focus on online sales in the Indian market and the anti-China sentiment among Indians, it seems that Samsung sales may be on the rise.
