Afghanistan, Tokens were issued today to apply for visas at the Pakistani Embassy in Jalalabad. More than 3,000 people had gathered there for this. Authorities say 15 Afghans, including women, were died in the stampede.
Including eight women, several people were injured. Several elderly people who were standing in the crowd were also reported injured.
Every year, ten thousand Afghans travel to neighboring Pakistan for medical treatment, education, and employment. The two countries share a border of nearly 2,600 kilometers.

In the war-torn country, Pakistan has about 30 lakh Afghan refugees and economic migrants who have fled violence, religious persecution, and poverty. Pakistani embassy officials did not immediately comment on the incident.
