German luxury carmaker Mercedes Benz has started producing AMG models in India. This makes Mercedes Benz the first company to promote domestic production.
Mercedes AMG GLC 43 Matic Coupe Model is the first series to be manufactured and released in India. Mercedes currently manufactures 19 models in CKD at the Chakan plant in Pune.
The Mercedes-Benz AMG Series 43, 53, 63 and GT Series models are sold in India. These have different body styles.
