The conflict between Taiwan and China has been escalating over the past few months. It is said that China could attack Taiwan at any time. The U.S State Department says it has signed a $ 1 billion (Rs. 7329 billion) deal to sell anti-aircraft missiles and other weapons systems.
The United States supplies its partner Taiwan with 11 A142 mobile light rockets, including six AGM-84H, SLAM-ER missiles, MS-110 aerial reconnaissance equipment and missiles.
SLAM-ER missiles support Taiwan’s current and future threats because it is capable of moving on land or sea surface, day and night in all weather conditions, and with precision strikes against fixed targets.
