The air quality in Delhi is very much affected every winter. The air has been very polluted since the beginning of winter this year. The air quality in the capital has been deteriorating for the past few days.
As of this morning, the air quality in Delhi’s Anandvihar area was 146. This is a very bad situation. It is only good if the air quality is up to 50. According to the Pollution Control Board, air quality was poor in various parts of Delhi.
The government has taken several measures to reduce the level of air pollution. Monitoring committees have been set up.
The state government has been campaigning to ‘turn off’ vehicles when red lights are on at traffic signals. But pollution should not be reduced. Thus people are suffering greatly.
