When a nationwide curfew was declared last March, devotees at the Thirumalai Tirupati temple were also banned from performing darshan. But all the regular pujas were held.
Devotees were allowed on June 11 last year with restrictions. But as the impact of the corona began to increase it was forbidden for devotees to perform darshan there. Meanwhile, the regular Brahmorsava ceremonies held at the Tirupati Ezhumalayan Temple were held without devotees.
In this situation, the Devasthanam administration has accepted the request of the devotees and has come forward to provide free darshan tokens to 3,000 devotees daily. Accordingly, the distribution of tickets for free darshan at the Tirupati Ezhumalayan Temple began today.
Free darshan tokens will be distributed at the Bhudevi Complex in Tirupati Alipore from 5 am today. Devotees who get tickets today can visit Ezhumalayana for free tomorrow.
