According to the officials, the state government had already prepared a proposal with the help of the State Education Department for the reopening of schools in the current pandemic situation.
The reopening of schools in Rajasthan for senior classes will be the first phase of reopening the educational institutes. The classes will most likely resume from November 2 for students of class 10, 11, and 12.
The Education Minister of Rajasthan, Govind Singh Dotasara, talked about how a detailed set of SOPs has been drafted by the education department for the reopening of schools this year. He also stated that zero academic year was not an option for the state government.

“A detailed SOP has been drafted in this context and sent to the state government as well. Our worry is to ensure that the schools are being run for 150 days at least which is the minimum requirement for operating one academic school session,” he said.
In the SOPs issued by the state government, several guidelines have been stated for the students and teachers regarding the proper sanitation of school furniture, stationery, toilets, water tanks, and other things.
