Amar (age 22) is an auto driver from Madanapalle, Chittoor district. Srivandi (21) is from Valasapalli Krishnapuram. She is working as an employee in a private company. The two fell in love. After hearing about their love affair, both the families expressed their strong opposition.
The romantic couple, who thought that the two would separate themselves, got upset and tried to commit suicide by drinking poison near a private company near Krishnapuram.
They were rescued by the locals and sent to Manadapalli Government Hospital. Madanapalle suburban police have registered a case and are conducting an investigation.
