The Southeastern Railway has introduced a program called ‘Enadhu Thozhi’ to ensure the safety of female passengers traveling from the point of boarding to the point of destination and said that women can call “182” if there is any problem during the journey.
This was well received by the female passengers. Following this, Indian Railways has announced that the ‘Enadhu Thozhi’ scheme has been expanded everywhere.
