Prime Minister Narendra Modi has left for Gujarat on a two-day visit. Former Gujarat Chief Minister Keshubhai Patel has died due to illness. He met his family and said consolation. He then moved to Kevadia in the Narmada district. In Kevadia, he opened and visited the Sardar Patel Zoo.

Tomorrow, Sardar Patel will pay floral tributes to the iconic statue of unity in his memory. During the function, the Central Armed Police Force (CRPF) and the Gujarat Police will hold a procession called the Ekta Diwas Parade.
After addressing the parade, the Prime Minister is scheduled to address civil service veterans via video conference. Later in the afternoon, he will open a seaplane service connecting Kevadia and Ahmedabad. From there he leaves for Delhi.
