A youth was found dead with serious injuries near the Putheri railway bridge in Nagercoil yesterday morning. Upon learning of this, the Nagercoil Railway Police went to the spot, seized the boy’s body, and sent it for autopsy. He jumps in front of the train and commits suicide? As investigated.
The deceased was identified as Naveen (32), son of Sellasamy, of the Pathankadu area near Nagercoil. He completed engineering and started looking for a new job. In this position, Naveen got a job as an assistant manager in a nationalized bank in Mumbai. Following this, he went to Mumbai a few days ago and took charge as the assistant manager of the bank.
Naveen took a flight from Mumbai to Thiruvananthapuram the day before yesterday. Coming to Nagercoil from there, he went near the Putheri railway bridge and committed suicide by jumping in front of the train. At the same time, there was a letter in Naveen’s shirt pocket. The letter was seized by the police. Naveen wrote the reason for suicide in the letter. That came as a shock to the police.
I mean in that letter, I completed my studies and looked for work in many places. But I didn’t get any job. So I prayed to God that if I got a job, I would lend my life for good. Now I have a job, so I dedicate my life to God as I should.
