Sagayam IAS has applied for voluntary retirement from the TamilNadu government service. He has been applying for the post of Vice President of Tamil Nadu Science City for 6 years.
It has been reported that Sagayam wants to retire from the IAS voluntarily as he has been in the only non-essential post for many years by the Tamil Nadu government.
He has 3 more years to retire from government office. Sagayam who applied for VRS will be relieved of government post within 2 months. Sagayam has been doing community service in association with IAS People’s Path.
It is noteworthy that Sagayam IAS was the one who brought out the granite scandal when he was the Madurai District Collector.
