World Travel Awards – the worldwide initiative to perceive and compensate excellence in travel and tourism – has declared its Europe 2020 victors to coincide with its inaugural Europe Champs Day. Winners incorporate Portugal, which battled off solid competition to develop as ‘Europe’s Driving Destination’, whereas the royal quality of Moscow was recognized with awards for ‘Europe’s Leading City Destination’ and ‘Europe’s Leading Heritage Destination’.
In the hospitality segment, Çırağan Royal residence Kempinski, Istanbul was voted ‘Europe’s Leading Hotel’, Elounda Shoreline Inn & Estates, Greece won ‘Europe’s Driving Beach Resort’ and Sardinia’s Strongpoint Town Resort lifted the title for ‘Europe’s Leading Resort’.
