Shane Watson is Australia’s all-rounder. Retired from international cricket and local cricket, he played only in the T20 leagues.
He played for the Chennai Super Kings in the IPL. CSK advanced to the finals thanks to Watson’s outstanding performance last season. Chennai Super Kings were disappointed not to advance to the playoffs around this season.
Watson also failed to put up a consistently excellent game. According to reports, after playing in the last league match against Kings XI Punjab, the CSK players in the room were emotional that they were going to retire from all forms of cricket.
Watson retired from international cricket in 2016. He has been playing for the Chennai Super Kings since 2018. He was the main reason for the Chennai team to win the trophy that year. He scored a century against Sunrisers Hyderabad last season to advance to the final.
